SUBJECT- Revised 2012 Groundwater Data Transmittal
DuPont Company — Fayetteville Works
Permit No. NCD 047 368 642
Dear Mr. Stanley:
DuPont Fluoroproducts

Fayetteville, NC 28306-7332
February 26, 2013
On August 28, 2012, the DuPont Company — Fayetteville Works submitted to you the on -site
groundwater monitoring results for the compound perfluorooctanoic acid ("PFOA") from the
sampling event in March 2012. It was subsequently discovered that these results were in error.
These erroneous sample results were generated using an elevated calibration range during
laboratory confirmation analysis so that non -detect (ND) results, for example, were non -detect at
an elevated level. The reporting limits provided were questionable in light of the elevated
calibration range used during confirmation analysis.
The attached Table I shows the corrected March 2012 groundwater monitoring results.
Please feel free to call me at 910-678-1155 if you have any questions.
