Therese,
The Division of Air Quality has received several recent requests for records on our enforcement actions, so we have
compiled Excel files showing all actions over the past: five years. I am attaching lists showing:
All NOVs and NODS issued during the 2009-13 period.
- All civil penalties assessed for air quality violations (luring the 2009-1_3 period.
- All SOCs from that period.
I am also attaching a Ford file describing the different: kinds of enforcement actions and summarizing these actions for
that period. Please note that DAQ did not issue NODS prior to 2011. NOVs were the initial or lowest form of
enforcement action before 2011, and DENR created the new NOD category following a review of its enforcement
policies at the request: of the General Assembly during the Perdue administration.
Feel free to call me if you have any questions about this information.

That would be helpful. I don't need summaries- if I see something of interest I will request it or make an
appointment at Central Files.
Thanks,

We don't post IVCVs and NODS, probably because there are so many of them. It is also hard to summarize the types of
violations in many cases. However, we car) provide you a list of all enforcement actions (including NOVs) if you want
there.

Thanks Tom, was at an EPA meeting last weeks- there were a couple of regulatory agencies that presented and
mentioned different things they had- like a monthly listsery that listed all NOV's issued, or in house lists that
were available to review upon requests, as well as the NOV's being posted at the agencies' website. That's the
sort of thing I was wondering about.
