Myquestion iuwhat certification (if any) im required ofthe person who calibrates the flow measurement device
ofonNUPl]ES permitted outfall9
Our permit states that the "flow measurement devices shall he accurately calibrated otominimum nfonce per
ycm,' but lcannot find any further requirements regarding said calibration.
Wecurrently use u3'd _paovcompany(IST)vvho calibrates the (]utfall 001 and (]utfal} 002 flow meters twice
per year, and it is said that they are "State certified" but I cannot find on the NC-DWR website any mention of
certification system.
Please let mnknow what the requirementsarc. Wcare looking at the possibility
ofour onuitninstrumentation
mechanics performing these calibrations.
