Jay and Linda,
Just wanted to pass along the good comments I have heard from New Hanover County. They
were very complimentary of DEQ actions, attitudes, and professionalism. It was evident that
DEQ was making every effort to get answers. I also heard their comments on how complicated
the permitting and regulatory process was for DEQ and EPA. Your expertise was evident. I
know you had a long, tough week, but you made a great impression and proved that DEQ is
working to protect the water quality and citizens who drink it.
