Connie the topic for the daily 9:30am DHHS/DEQ/Local Health Dept. conf. call tomorrow
is dedicated to the topic of future sampling planning, so it's not a separate call but just locking
inthe agenda for the daily call. | gave Chris the daily con[call info. earlier inthe week but don't
think he has been able tojoin us.
Chris, Dana and Cyndi — I think every call this week the local Health Directors have asked questions
about our current sampling efforts and have indicated they have residents asking for additional sampling.
Earlier in the week I asked that we have a specific conversation on additional sampling ideas towards
the end ofthe week. EPA was targeting Tues. June 20th to have feedback on the health risk level, which
would help guide the planning for future sampling. EPA, along with DHHS and Connie, is still reviewing
and analyzing health data, so we do not have those answers to help guide us right now.
The Health Directors appreciate Dana's efforts tofind private lab resources for analysis to pass along
totheir management and homeowners.
They are also very interested in hearing about the analysis coordinated by Chris with EPA ORD — what/when.
I'm going tmsend you umemail to see ifwecan talk mt330pnntopmmfor the 9:38unmcall tomorrow.
|fyou want toadd more people, please forward the invite. tothem. Not sure that Steve West orMark Brantley
can join us, but | will see.
GmaI of the 9:3Bmnncall tomorrow: tobegin dialog with local health dept'sonfuture sampling
concepts for GenX issues from an evaluated viewpoint using their judgment and experience
(not simply compiling alist ofrequests they have reoeived).
At today's 9:30am call, we briefly touched on the idea of participating in a statewide local Health
Director association meeting to discuss emerging contaminants and join planning between
DE[\and DHHS. That's a longer term, more broad conversation to coordinate on other chemicals
from U[K8Rdata and perhaps other data sources.
Look for a meeting invite for 3:30pm. Connie, I'll initiate the call from my office if you want to join me.
