Subject: RE: CFPUAletter requesting |PW0}
Just anfyithat the Dept isnow aware ofthe request and has not formally weighed inwith adecision concerning the
direction w/ewant to take. That being said, Connie makes some good points concerning the information needed to
support the request and who does the work. | think xveneed todiscuss further before vverespond back tothe
petitioner. We might be able to set that up sometime next week???

Perhaps materials were not received — or the requestor did not understand his obligations. The rule goes on to say that
the petitioner shall supply the relevant tuxinformation. |tishere that the challenge arises — as, even yesterday, all ofus
are struggling to identify that the information is actually available. The US EPA held a teleconference call identifying that
numerous areas within the US EPA are actively working on the issues - with a generous amount of work as yet
unresolved.
