Subject: Aquatic toxicity testing 2ndCtrZ0O9-20l0update
Attachments: FRO.pdf
Enclosed, please find the Fayetteville regional office aquatic toxicity testing update for the 2nd quarter of the 2009-2010
federal fiscal year.
ATU would like to emphasize our goal of monitoring all major permits within a 5 year period. We are requesting that
your region focus on submitting for testing those facilities that have not been tested in the past 5 years.
Modifications have been made tothe Major Permitted Facilities list to assist in this effort. The modified list presents the
testing completed for the 2009'2010hedera| fiscal year (FFY) and also details the most recent test date that ATU has on
record for each major facility in your region. Facilities that have not been tested in the past S years have been
highlighted for easy reference.
ATU would like to thank the Fayetteville regional office staff for your cooperation in our effort to monitor toxicity in
North Carolina's waterways. We are continuing to review our methods and welcome any suggestions that you may have
that would improve this process.
If you have any questions, please contact Christopher Venta|oro by email at or by
phone/voicemail at (919)743-8443. Thank you.
