Joe is the Compliance contact, but this falls into Complex Unit permitting. JeffP and I have already had meetings with Reeder on Performance Fibers on another future permitting scenario, so this sounds like yet another potential twist. I'll try to attend this meeting, but: have another meeting with DuPont at 1.30pm. Cc: Hennessy, • BeInick, Tom Subject:Arauco Moncure NPDESe• i times Joe, Can you participate In a meeting on Jame 24't' at 1.0:30 at RRC? Arauco Moncure has a non -discharge permit: with ass, but they will be needing additional wastewater treatment and disposal that cannot be accommodated by their current ND permit, and It is unlikely that their current sprayfields could be expanded. This additional wastewater will be generated from new air quality treatment processes that are currently being considered as part of an SOC with DAQ. Arauco Moncure would like to discuss the passibility of getting an NPDES permit for the additional wastewater which would be discharged to the Flaw River, and/or modifying an existing, NPDES permit for their defunct neighbor, Performance Fibers to include this additional wastewater. * They anticipate generating approximately an additional 100,000 gallons per day of wastewater to accommodate the new air treatment vessels,. Arauco would life to meet with the appropriate representatives within NCDENR to help therm determine the best option(s) for disposal of the anticipated additional wastewater. We will need to able to communicate/discuss what: that will need in order to proceed (e.g. new application, priority pollutant analysis, major modification, request pump and Maul etc.) Please let me know if you can attend.
