Wright 5306 Bogue Drive Oriental, NC 28571 Subject: "General" Major Variance Inspection Lot 10 Fairwinds Subdivision DWQ Project # 2006-0123 Otter Creek [NSW, SC, Sw] Dear Mr. Wright: On June 23, 2009, Anthony Scarbraugh of the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) inspected a proposed residential dwelling to be constructed at the subject property located on Fairwinds Drive in Oriental, Pamlico County. This project was inspected for compliance with the Neuse River Riparian Buffer Protection Rules "General" Major Variance with Additional Conditions granted on March 14, 2006 for the construction of dwelling at the subject property. The "General" Major Variance approved the impact of 1,354 ft2 of Zone 1 and 1,380 of Zone 2 of the protected Neuse River buffers to complete your project as described in your February 21, 2006 variance request. The inspection revealed that the project has not yet been completed. As such, you will be rescheduled for an inspection at a later date. This office would like to remind you that you are limited to the impacts proposed in your application and you must comply with all additional conditions detailed in the "General" Major Variance granted on March 14, 2006. As a reminder, if you change your project you must notify us and you may be required to send us a new application. If the property is sold, the new owner must be given a copy of the minor variance and approval letter and is thereby responsible for complying with all conditions.
