won't: know how much support: we'll need writing the report until after we meet: later this month.

If you think it will simplify things, I can work with Ron, Jackie, and Bethany to collect all the comments that come in and
get: you a copy of everything by about the 26.-' (a week after the record closes). That way, you won't have to keep track
of the bits and pieces as they arrive. Ron has already identified a list of technical changes to be made in the DuPont
limits, and he can add those to the mix as well.
In previous multi -permit hearings we've had, the hearing officers and the permitting staff met about a month after the
hearing to review the comments, put together a list: of the issues to he addressed, and get: an initial sense of how to
handle them. It has worked pretty well, but we can do it differently if another way makes more sense to you.
When we get together (or any time before then), we ought to talk about what support you want from me and the other
permit writers from here on. In some past cases, we've been heavily involved in writing up the report;. in others, we've
gotten our first: glimpse when it: was reedy to go to C'oleen. We're ready to help wherever we can; I just don't, want: to be
so helpful that we get in your way.
When you're ready, let me know what you think on these points.

I got a copy of DuPont's comment letter in my box yesterday, and I noted the last one asked for the basis of the
benchmarks for the SW outfalls. I'll be glad to address that in the response to comments (whether it's separate or part
of the final issuance letter). Just update me on the time schedule after tonight's hearing. Hope it goes okay!
