If you (Belinda) still live in Raeford, you may have had less of an impact than Cumberland and Bladen Counties
experienced. I hope so.
Mark: You and your family probably got hammered from the rain. You live not terribly far from our site,
and

Belinda and Mark:
Jamie called me and said there were no overflows from the WWTP yesterday.
Therefore please disregard my email from earlier today.
The site experienced one or more power outages, therefore we were not able to measure 1 record the flow rates
at the outfalls during those periods of time. For the October DMR, I will have to make an estimation of what
the flow rates were for that date.

Belinda and Mark:
This is a precautionary notification that our facility's wastewater treatment plant may have experienced an
overflow of untreated wastewater on Saturday, October 8, 2016, due to the heavy rainfall from Hurricane
Matthew. I tried calling both of your telephone numbers but the calls failed due to a problem on your end,
which might also be due to the high waters from Matthew.
I was notified yesterday that the WWTP's Equalization Basin was getting extremely full from the incoming
stormwater, but I did not hear if there was actually an overflow from either it or the Influent Sump, which
pumps into the Equalization Basin.
The site has been shutdown for a couple weeks for the annual maintenance turnaround, therefore there would
have been no process wastewater in the WWTP on Saturday. However, there would have been the normal
sanitary wastewater entering the WWTP.
Once I have confirmation whether or not there was an overflow, I will let you know.
