The next NCA\NVVA'VVEAWater Resources Committee Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 141h at 1 PM. Our guest
speaker will be Drew Bartlett, Assistant Director of the Division of Environmental Assessment and Restoration of the
F|oridaDEP. That Division is responsible for implementing the Florida Watershed Restoration Act and the Clean Water
Act for the State of Florida including setting water quality standards, monitoring and assessing surface water quality,
establishing TMDLs and restoration goals, and developing and implementing Basin Management Action Plans, the
blueprint for restoration. Drew will be speaking on the current status of nutrient issues in Florida. | think it will be an
interesting and timely discussion.
I have included members of the Water Resources Committee, Governmental Affairs Committee, and others that I
thought might be interested in hearing the presentation so feel free to join us even if you are not a committee
