Here is the list of permits I've worked up for the fiscal analysis. By my reckoning, we had a nice round 1250 permits as of
7/1/11.|started with afresh 7/1queryofB|MS,thende|etedpermitsthathaverecendybeenresdndedandthosefor
which we have an application but have not acted yet. I added one permit back to the list (Diamond Shoal Seafood,
07609); the permit was once rescinded but is now active again, even though the facility is not.
I've added subtotals tothe list inthe 'penmhsJO1107O1'sheet. With these, the list isbroken down bygroup (private
local, state, federal) and by type (Lg Muni, Muni <1MGD, Industrial Process, etc.). You can roll the entire list up or
down to different levels by clicking on the outline headings to the left (the 1,2,3,4 buttons) or use the +/- buttons to
open/close specific sections.
Since the pivot table inthe 'pt1'sheet provides the same counts (but only lists the permit number /&om/neMiyou can
delete the subtotals if you want (Alt-D, B, RemoveAll).
Take a look and let me know if you think I've overlooked any permits or miscategorized any of them.
At Tuesday's meeting, Dianne will probably ask you for an update on my status (per her 2:31 email today).
m You can mention the permits list for starters.
w I've also spoken with Mark McIntire, and he's agreed to send me the cost info behind his 9/2/2010 Technical Memo
tothe League.
• Nikki sent me EPA guidance (on standards variances) that included some cost information for metals treatment; I
may follow up with the EPA staffer to get the source info he used for that.
* I need to get an idea of what consultants charge these days, probably from Mark again, to estimate the cost of
studies that permittees will likely undertake before they resort to the treatment alternatives.
9 I'm sketching out an 'alternatives tree' that will show what options are available for the various types of dischargers
and how we presume they will work through those.
I hope that helps you out some. Let me know how the meeting goes, and I'll see you next Monday.
Mike
