Participants will be escorted on the tour, and only those with closed toe shoes will be allowed in the laboratory
portions of the tour. Safety glasses will be provided.

Stop at the Guard Station as you enter the EPA campus at 109 TW Alexander Drive. The Security Guard will ask for
your photo ID (e.g., driver's license), give you a visitor -parking pass, and provide directions to visitor parking.
Park only in the designated visitor spaces. The main entrance (Building Q is to the left of the flagpole.
You will need to show your photo ID again and pass through a metal detector to receive your visitor badge. If you
bring alaptop, allow afew extra minutes for check in.
From the Alexander Dr. entrance, follow the main road about 1 mile until you come to an elevated crosswalk/wide
speed bump connecting the Day Care Center on your left to the main complex on your right. Drive over the speed
bump, and take the first right into a loop. Take the second right along that loop to get to the Crescent Lot Visitor

loop, turn left onto the main road, and then turn left immediately after the elevated crosswalk described above. Then
make the quick left into the North Surface lot and drive straight to the back row. If all the Visitor Parking spaces are
occupied, you will need to park in the National Computer Center (NCC) Surface Lot across the street. A shuttle bus
travels between the NCC Surface Lot and the main building approximately every 10 minutes (see bus stop map below).
For accommodations for the night of August 29, please feel free to consider staying at the HotelIndigo atthe
government per them rate of $102 + tax. If you need a ride to/from EPA RTP campus, please contact Lisa Matthews.
