I have sent this latest PFOA RA draft out to the NCSAB in the hopes that we will have a final risk assessment soon. I have
attached the latest draft for your information. Let me know if I need to do something else, or differently. I'm still feeing
my way into how to handle some of this interdepartmental work.
Kind Regards,
Robin

Subject: [DENR.DAQ.SAB_committee] NCSAB Final Draft PFOA Risk Assessment 3une 8, 2012
Good Afternoon.
| have completed the changes tothe PFOARisk Assessment. The changes include:
* Addition to the Animal Studies — Developmental/Reproductive Section as suggested by Drs. Cunny, Kenyon
and Dorman (thank you toall for the comments)
w Editorial changes throughout for readability and completeness
* Reference check for completeness and accuracy
Given that the board has voted on and approved the I MAC developed in the risk assessment, I am hoping that all this
document needs isone more review and approval asamended. |donot anticipate that this needs further discussion at
the July meeting, unless someone has an objection.
It would be fantastic if your reviews could be completed by Friday June 22, 2012 so that the risk assessment can be
finalized. After that, the next step is drafting a letter to DWQ with the recommendation, and posting the final risk
assessment onthe xvebpa8e which should beaccomplished byJuly l,2O1I
Dr. Starr, please let me know if you have a different way in which this needs to proceed or any other concerns regarding
the completion ofthe PFOArisk assessment.
