RE: questions
The Vinyl Ethers Process in question makes three (3) different vinyl ethers:
• PPVE
perfluoropropyl vinyl ether
CAS No. 1623-05-8
• PSEPVE
perfluoro(4-methyl-3,6-dioxaoct-7-ene) sulfonyl fluoride
CAS No. 16090-14-5
• EVE
3-[1-[difluoro[(1,2,2-trifluoroethenyl)oxy]methyl]-1,2,2,2-tetrafluoroethoxy]-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoro-, methyl
ester propanoic acid
CAS No. 63863-43-4
The HFPO Dimer Acid is associated with PPVE. PPVE runs on average about six (6) months per year in several
shorter campaigns. In between the PPVE campaign the production area will make PSEPVE and EVE.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Michael.
Of course as I learn more about this I only have more questions. I'll try to make a list and ask them all at once but one quick
one —
Is Chemours just shutting down the PPVE manufacturing in 3 weeks or both the Vinyl Ethers Process and the PPVE?
Are you going to the meeting in New Hanover today?

Michael,
Are statements A and C correct ? And can you answer B and D?
A. The GenX manufacturing area for FRD 902 "GenX" and FRD 905 "GenX" referred to as PPA is closed loop and does not
have a discharge. All process wastewaters generated in this area are shipped to AR or OH for incineration. Yes
