The report covers monitoring results for all July 2018. As required by General Permit No. NCG030000, samples are taken on a monthly basis after measureable rainfall events, due to the exceedances for Copper and Zinc, above the benchmark values. As of the September 2014 sampling event, we exceeded the benchmark values for both copper and zinc for a fourth time. We made the proper notifications and received a letter back from Zahid S. Khan, a Regional Engineer. We continue to conduct monthly monitoring and have initiated an Engineering Study to better understand any sources of copper and zinc that may be affecting our monitoring results. Should you have questions or comments, please contact me at (704) 637-4546.
