Ge�eral Permit {NWP) or atiter gen�al pertnit verifzcation requiring "pre- constru�tion
notificatifli�'" (PCN}, or requests verification for a non-reporhing NWP or other general permit,
and �he pei�rnit applicant has not requested an AID for fhe actiu�ty, the permit appiicant is
hereby made aware that: {1) the �ermit appli�ant has etected �o seek a permit authorizatian
hased on a PJD, whie� does not make an officAak determination of jurisdictionai aquatic
resources; (�) the applicant has the option tn request an AJD befor� acoepting the kerm.s and
conditions of the pezmik auihorizat�on, and that basing a permEt authoriaation vn an A.TD could
possibly result in less eotnpet�satory mitigation being tequired �r different special cor�ditions�
[3} the appli�an� has the right t� request an individuaT permit rather than accepting the tarms
aad conditions of �he NWP or oiher genera� pennit authorizailon, (4) the applicant can accept
a permit authorization and thereby agree to compiy with sl� the terms and eonditions af that
