Thank you for your PCN and attached information, dated and received 10/17/2018, for
the above referenced project. I have reviewed the information and need clarification
before proceeding with verifying the use of Nationwide Permit 14 (http://saw-
reg.usace.army.mil/NWP2017/2017NWP14.pdf). Please submit the requested
information below (via e-mail is fine) within 30 days of receipt of this Notification,
otherwise we may deny verification of the use of the Nationwide Permit or consider
your application withdrawn and close the file:
1) Please provide the following for the proposed stream relocation reach:
a. profile view along the length of the reach showing all structure locations
and proposed grade;
b. cross section detail(s) of the stream relocation reach at various
representative locations of the reach;
c. detail views of the structures proposed;
d. seeding/mulching/matting specifications for the stream relocation
reach;
This information is necessary to ensure stability of the proposed stream relocation and
allow effective inspections for compliance purposes. Please let me know if you have any
questions.
