We had an inspection planned a few weeks ago. The on-site rep was expecting major storm damage, so we cancelled &
agreed to follow-up at some later date.
We have no objection to issue the permit Oct 2. We will follow-up with site visit after the owner/facility has reasonable
time to recover from flooding.

Hey Guys,
I realize that you probably have a lot of storm stuff you are dealing with right now. I just wanted to touch base again on
this one to see when you thought you might be able to get out and take a look at it. The notice time period is up on it
and we didn't get any comments from the permitee or general public. Let me know how you want to proceed. We
could go ahead and reissue and have you guys schedule a site visit as soon as you can or we can hold off until you have a
chance to go out to the site. Only thing to keep in mind about the last option is that under our rules we have to take
action on the permit within 60 days of notice. The 60 days will be October 2nd

Samir, Bill,
I have a draft ready for this permit renewal. You can access the draft and all other documents at the Laserfiche link
below. You can find their renewal application and also additional information they sent in recently. In addition, there is
a review document that I put together from my review of the application information, data, etc. The cover letter is
there as well and it spells out all the major changes in the permit for the permitee.
We plan to mail out a copy of the draft to them today or tomorrow and the draft permit is scheduled to be noticed in
the New Bern Sun Journal later this week. The comment period will end September 2nd. Please take look and let me
know if you have any comments/concerns. If you could schedule a site visit and get us feedback within the next 30 days
that would be really helpful.
Contact with Culpeper of Cove City is Josh Adkins. Josh is in their Orangeburg SC facility so when you contact him he
may point you to someone else on site to set up the site visit. His contact information is: Josh Adkins —
