made during the normal office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday through
Friday, excluding State Holidays.
3. The reclaimed water utilization facilities shall be effectively maintained and operated at
all times so that there is no discharge to the surface waters, nor any contamination of
ground waters which will render them unsatisfactory for normal use. In the event that the
facilities fail to perform satisfactorily, including the creation of nuisance conditions or
failure of the irrigation area to adequately assimilate the wastewater, the Permittee shall
take immediate corrective actions including those actions that may be required by the
Division of Water Quality (Division), such as the construction of additional or
replacement wastewater treatment and disposal facilities.
4. The Town of Farmville is authorized to distribute its generated reclaimed water to the
following reclaimed water users:
a. Farmville Golf & Country Club, Inc., permit WQ0020809.
Should contraventions of the classified groundwater standards set forth in 15A NCAC
2L.0200 occur for the above listed permit holders, and the contraventions are associated
with the quality of the generated reclaimed water, the Town of Farmville shall take
corrective actions to restore and/or improve the quality of the generated reclaimed water
in order to mitigate the reclaimed water users' violations.
5. The issuance of this permit shall not relieve the Permittee of the responsibility for
damages to surface or ground waters resulting from the operation of this facility.
6. The residuals generated from these treatment facilities must be disposed in accordance
with General Statute 143-215.1 and in a manner approved by the Division.
7. Diversion or bypassing of the untreated wastewater from the treatment facilities is
prohibited.
