In accordance with a request received from our Winston-Salem. Regional Office, we are forwarding
herewith a corrected cover letter and a corrected page 3 of Permit No. WQ0009826, issued April 15,
2005, to Wayne Farms, LLC for the subject Wastewater Spray Irrigation system.
The permit cover letter has been revised to correspond with the correct department/unit names following
our recent reorganization, as follows:
Copies are to be sent to the Winston-Salem Regional Office, Aquifer Protection Section, not Water
Quality Section.
The following correction has been made to the permit:
The requirement, in Permit Condition III.2., item f., to maintain records of continuous weekly,
monthly, and year-to-date PAN (pounds/acre) loadings for each field and in item g. to maintain a
nitrogen balance for each field after an application event, have been deleted. These requirements
have been deleted to correspond with the effluent analysis requirements in Permit Condition I11.4.
which does not include testing for total nitrogen and nitrate/nitrite nitrogen necessary to determine
the PAN.
Enclosed please, find a revised cover letter and revised page 3 (corrected May 24, 2005) of the permit.
Please replace the cover letter of the permit with the corrected letter and replace page 3 in Permit No:
WQ0009826, issued April I5, 2005 with the corrected page 3.
