Spray Irrigation Permit
Reference is made concerning rescission of the subject State Permit. Staff of the
Raleigh Regional Office have confirmed that you will not construct the spray field covered
under this permit. Therefore, in accordance with your request, State Permit No.
WQ0006145 is rescinded, effective immediately.
If in the future you wish to again operate a spray irrigation type of nondischarge
wastewater treatment system, you must first apply for and receive a new State Permit.
Operating without a valid State Permit will subject the facility to a civil penalty of up to
$ 10,000 per day.

The Person. County school system has provided the RRO a letter
stating that it does not intend to build the subject spray
irrigation system. They further have requested that Permit No.
WQ0006145 be voided. They realize that in order to construct a
spray irrigation system, a new permit would have to be issued.
Please take the necessay steps to ensure that WQ0006145 is removed
from the IMS system, the billing system, and the nondischarge
monitoring system.
