The Central Office is in receipt of your request, dated April 21, 2010, to modify the subject permit by adding
Total Iron to the existing list of groundwater monitoring parameters for the subject facility.
Pursuant to recent conversations with your office regarding the forthcoming closure of the ash basin facility and
the permit modifications that will be required at that time, we will not be modifying the existing permit by
annexing Total Iron to the list of groundwater sampling parameters at this time, and are returning your
application herewith.
