Catawba County
In accordance with your permit modification request received on July 22, 2009, we are
forwarding herewith a modified Attachment A, certified August 21, 2009, to the City of Newton for the
subject residuals land application program. This certification is being issued to reduce the monitoring for
TCLP parameters from annually to once per permit cycle.
Please replace the existing Attachment A of Permit No. WQ0003902, that was previously
certified on June 1, 2006, with this modified Attachment A. It is the Permittee's responsibility to
ensure that a complete permit is created by replacing the previously certified Attachment A with this
revised version.
This modified Attachment A shall be effective from the date of certification, shall. void
Attachment A of Permit No. WQ0003902 that was previously certified on June 1, 2006, and shall be
subject to the conditions and limitations as specified therein and well as those specified in the above -
referenced permit. As always, remember to take the time to review this modified Attachment A
thoroughly, as some of the conditions contained therein may have been changed since the last
certification. Note that this modified Attachment A is hereby incorporated by reference into Permit No.
WQ003902, issued on June 1, 2006.
If any parts, requirements, and/or limitations contained in this certification or modified
Attachment A are unacceptable, you have the right to request an adjudicatory hearing upon written
request within 30 days following receipt of the certification. This request shall be in the from of a written
petition, conforming to Chapter 150B of the North Carolina General Statutes and filed with the Office of
Administrative Hearings at 6714 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-6714. Unless such
demands are made, this permit shall be final and binding.
