Dear Mr. Baiter:
On December 9, 1991 Mr. Frank Post of AMSCO, Inc. called Mr. Lindsay L. Mize of the
Division's Water Quality Staff, Central Office, to discuss a condition in the subject permit. It seems that a
clause in Condition I.8.(f) that allows the application of sludge closer than 100 feet to a property line with
the adjacent land owners written consent was mistakenly left out of Permit No. WQ0000520 issued
October 4, 1991. The condition reads as follows:
1. 8. f) 100 feet from property lines for both methods,
Permit No. WQ0000520 issued October 4, 1991 is hereby amended to replace the existing
Condition I. 8. f) as listed above with the following:
Condition I. 8. f) 100 feet from property lines for both methods; however, this
requirement may be reduced upon written concurrence from the
adjoining property owner,
This amendment shall be effective from the date of issuance until March 31, 1994 which is the
expiration date of Permit WQ0000520 issued October 4, 1991. This amendment letter shall be kept at all
locations that Permit WQ0000520 issued October 4, 1991 is required. (i.e. land application site, etc.).
