Wake County
The subject facility requested on June 13, 1991 that their permit be rescinded because a mix-up
occurred and the town was not aware of their need for this permit. The Raleigh Regional Office requested
that the permit not be rescinded because the Town would eventually need the sludge permit. The permit
was reissued on September 30, 1991 and expires on April 30, 1996. This memo serves to indicate that the
permit has been reissued and the permit rescission request has been dropped.

The Raleigh Regional Office has reviewed the attached
request and recommends collection of the fee. The Town's
old NPDES wastewater lagoon site is being converted into a
final sludge disposal facility under Permit No. WQ0004759.
The Town does not appear to understand the ramifications of
the disposal method they have selected.
