Dear Mr. Jenkins:
Two Rivers Utilities provides wastewater treatment services for The Town of Stanley. Two
Rivers Utilities and the Town of Stanley have entered into a Sanitary Sewer Service Utility
Agreement dated August 6, 2013 for the treatment of wastewater. The contract includes a
monthly maximum flow of 30,000,000 gallons. The current Average Daily Flow received from
the Town of Stanley is 316,555 gallons per day. The proposed Wastewater Collection System
Rehabilitation and Improvement Project consisting of the replacement of approximately 6,670
LF of 8 -inch sewers will not add any additional flow to the system.
The wastewater from the Town of Stanley will be treated at the Long Creek WWTP, NPDES
Permit Number NC0020184. The permitted capacity of the Long Creek WWTP is 16 MGD. The
current Average Daily Flow is 7.4 MGD.
