Chris and Amy,
Thanks for talking with me yesterday about the Nexeo facility in Charlotte and the renewal process. I just wanted to
send an email as a reminder about the two items we discussed at the end that you guys were going to get us more
information on.
• Outfalls 007 and 008 that appear on the site plan in the renewal application but are not on the site plan that
Chris forwarded recently?
• Containment Basin - It would be helpful to get a little more information on the function of this basin
Thanks again for all your help.

Bradley,
It was nice talking with you and we look forward to working with you and the agency on this permit renewal
application. I've attached the updated contact information as requested. I also attached the 2018 semi-annual sampling
report. I also have the semi-annual reports from 2013 through 2017 if you need them. I've also addressed your
comments below.
I will get with Amy Bauer with EHS Support (our consultant) on a meeting time for next week (9/4 — 9/6)
Thanks,
Chris Byerman

Hello, and first let me apologize for how long it has taken us to get going on your permit renewal. A number of issues
over the last few years have led to a backlog on renewal of our Individual permits. I would like to set up a time where I
can call and talk with you, or other staff as appropriate, about the renewal. I will be working on this process. Since the
previous renewal application came in back in mid 2014 I'm guessing there may be some changes that we should discuss
and possibly have documented for the renewal. In addition, here are a few other items that would be helpful if you can
provide updates:
• 1 have attached a printout of contacts we have in our database for the facility. Can you please review this and
let me know if there are changes to contacts and if the owner/facility information is still accurate? — See
updated information
Federal regulations changed in the last few years to require electronic reporting of data. We are not yet at the
stage of being able to collect stormwater data this way, but we will have to work to get accurate outfall location
information in our system in order to meet federal requirements for electronic reporting when our systems can
handle the data. If you could provide the lat/long coordinates for your facility's outfall points that would be
helpful. — I don't see the lat/long coordinates in the file, I'll see if ESH Support has or can get them
• If you can provide a summary of monitoring information since your application submittal in June 2014 that
would be help as well. — Semi -Annual sampling has continued as required under the expired permit
• I am very interested in any changes that may have occurred in your facility or processes since your application
submittal that could affect pollutants discharged in stormwater runoff. — No changes in the facility operations
or layout
• If there have been changes, a new site map showing the most up to date layout of activities, outfalls and
drainage will be needed. — No changes, current storm water management diagram attached
I work part time and I am generally in the office three days a week (Monday — Wednesday). Maybe we can find a
day/time soon that works to talk. I will be in today and tomorrow (Wed 8/29) for this week. Next week Monday is a
holiday and then I will be in Tuesday through Thursday (9/4 — 9/6).
Thanks for your help!
