Box 230 SEP 17 2018 High Point, NC 27261-0230 Water Resources SUBJECT: Sanitary Sewer Overflows —July 2018 Permitting Section Facility: High Point Collection System Permit No. WQCS00010 Owner: City of High Point County: Guilford Dear Mr. Houk: A review has been conducted of the Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) 5-Day Report(s) submitted by the City of High Point for the month of July 2018. This review has shown the City .of High Point to be in violation of the requirements found in the WQCS00010 collection system permit and/or North Carolina General Statute 143.215.1(a)(1). The Division of Water Resources (DWR or Division) bases decisions concerning enforcement actions for SSOs on volume spilled, volume reaching surface waters, duration, gravity, impacts to public health, fish kills, and other factors.
