Box 70 Eden, NC 27289-0070 Water Resources Permitting Section SUBJECT: Sanitary Sewer Overflows —July 2018 Facility: Eden Collection System Permit No. WQCS00018 Owner: City of Eden County: Rockingham Dear Mr. Corcoran: A review has been conducted of the Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) 5-Day Report(s) submitted by the City of Eden for the month of July 2018. This review has shown the City of Eden to be in violation of the requirements found in the WQGS00018 collection system permit and/or North Carolina General Statute 143.215.1(6)(1). The Division of Water Resources (DWR or Division) bases decisions concerning enforcement actions for SSOs on volume spilled, volume reaching surface waters, duration, gravity, impacts to public health,fish kills, and other factors.
