Compliance inspections at the Asheboro Bypass were conducted on Sites 2, 3, 4A, 4B,
4C, 4D, 4E, 6A and 6B. Please address the below issues noted at approximate locations.
Site 3— Stream appears very turbid. See Site 3 photo.
Site 4B —The silt fence is failing and a blowout seems to have occurred at this site. See
Site 4B photos.
Site 6A—The skimmer does not appear to function as intended. Please see Site 6A
photo. Adjacent to this site is a slope which is not covered. See Soil Stabilization photo.
Site 6B — Riprap is located within the stream, which does not appear to be according to
plan.
Also, could you provide the construction timeframe for Site 5?
