CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE PLAN:
1. TREATMENT PLANT MUST REMAIN IN OPERATION AT ALL TIMES SUCH THAT NO WASTEWATER OVERFLOWS OCCUR AND NO
BYPASSING OF TREATMENT UNITS OCCURS.
2. OWNER'S PERSONNEL AND OPERATOR -IN -RESPONSIBLE CHARGE (ORC) SHALL NOT BE PREVENTED FROM OPERATING THE
TREATMENT PLANT DUE TO CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES. COORDINATE ALL WORK CLOSELY WITH ORC AND ENGINEER SUCH
THAT TREATMENT UNITS CONTINUE TO FUNCTION AS INTENDED IN ORDER TO MEET OWNER'S NPDES PERMIT LIMITS.
3. IF ANY TREATMENT UNIT MUST BETAKEN OUT OF SERVICE TEMPORARILY, IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH CONSTRUCTION
ACTIVITIES, THEN SUCH ACTION MUST BE SCHEDULED WITH ORC. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN
TEMPORARY PUMPS AND/OR STORAGE VESSELS AS MAY BE REQUIRED TO DIVERT WASTEWATER TO PARALLEL TREATMENT
UNITS OR TO HOLD THE WASTEWATER UNTIL IT CAN BE PLACED BACK INTO THE TREATMENT UNIT.
4. THE TREATMENT PLANT DESIGN FLOW RATE IS 1.80 MGD, THE AVERAGE FLOW RATE IS APPROXIMATELY 0.76 MGD WITH
PEAK HOURLY FLOWS OF APPROXIMATELY 1.2 MGD. THE PEAK WET -WEATHER FLOW RATE IS APPROXIMATELY 4.0 MGD.
CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT TAKE UNITS OUT OF SERVICE DURING WET -WEATHER FLOWS (GREATER THAN 1.2 MGD).
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NEVER BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OPERATION OF THE TREATMENT PLANT.
6. NEW EQUIPMENT SHALL BE PUT INTO SERVICE ONLY AFTER BEING TESTED IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ENGINEER AND
AFTER BEING ACCEPTED BY OWNER.

CHECK AT 24 HOURS LATER. THERE SHALL BE NO MEASURABLE DROP IN THE WATER LEVEL.

SEEDBED PREPARATION:
1. INSTALL SURFACE WATER CONTROLS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED PLAN.
2. REMOVE ROCKS, ROOTS, AND DEBRIS THAT COULD INTERFERE WITH SEEDBED
PREPARATION.
3. AREA TO BE SEEDED SHALL BE LOOSENED TO A DEPTH OF 4-6 INCHES USING A
RIPPER, HARROW, OR CHISEL PLOW.
4. SURFACE FOR FINAL SEEDBED SHALL BE TO GRADE, SMOOTH, AND UNIFORM.
SLOPES SHALL BE GROOVED OR FURROWED ALONG THE CONTOUR.
5. APPLY LIME AND FERTILIZER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE SEEDING SPECIFICATIONS.
6. APPLY SEED AND MULCH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE SEEDING SPECIFICATIONS.
7. RESEED AND MULCH AREAS WHERE COVER IS SPARSE OR WHERE EROSION HAS
OCCURRED.
NOTES:
1. MAXIMUM SLOPE ANGLES SHALL BE NO GREATER THAN THE ANGLE WHICH CAN BE
ADEQUATELY RETAINED BY VEGETATIVE COVER OR EROSION CONTROL STRUCTURES.
2. ALL PERIMETER DIKES, SWALES, DITCHES AND SLOPES SHALL HAVE GROUNDCOVER
PROVIDED WITHIN 7 DAYS FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF ANY PHASE OF GRADING/PIPE
LAYING.
