Based on anticipated jurisdictional impacts, this project has been approved for Section 404 authorization under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' (Corps) Nationwide Permit 12 and written authorization from the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for 401 certification. The original application did not reflect final structure locations, and the revisions to the plans caused an increase in the limits of disturbance, and temporary wetland and stream impacts from the use of timber mats for construction access. Permanent wetland impacts have decreased slightly (0.0041 acre to 0.0038 acre), but the permitted total will remain the same: 0.004 acre. All engineering methods and erosion and sediment control methods initially detailed in the permit application will remain the same. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need additional information regarding this project.
