New Hope Ranch Subdivision Storm Water Narrative

This site is currently undeveloped. The site is being developed as a single family
residential development. The portion of the site south of New Hope Church Road drains
to existing roadway ditching along New Hope Church Road, and the portion of the site
to the north drains offsite into adjacent undeveloped land.

The site meets the qualifications of a low density development. The average density for
the development is 0.42 units/acre compared to the maximum of 2 units/acre to satisfy
the requirements set forth by NCDEQ. No new roads are being constructed within this
development. Paved access drives will be constructed and will nearly match existing
grades, maintaining the existing drainage patterns.

Based on our study and review of the NCDEQ BMP manual and NC Session Law 2006-
246 Section 9 paragraph c, New Hope Ranch Subdivision meets and/or exceeds the
requirements and intent for low density development.
