HomeMy WebLinkAboutEmail RE Mecklenburg County Comments - Hunter SalvageGeorgoulias, Bethany From: Khan, Zahid Sent: Friday, June 22, 2018 3:03 PM To: laserfiche@ncdenr.gov Cc: Alexander, Laura; Georgoulias, Bethany; Ventaloro, Julie Subject: RE: Request for Comments - Hunter Salvage This input from Mecklenburg County. No input on our end... although I'm not sure if they actually have 5 outfalls. The outfall map they submitted is one that we prepared for them for evaluation purposes. In my opinion, they have two clear outfalls and the others are potential but I think likely are sheet flow before discharging into the onsite receiving stream. Just for reference, we've issued NOVs to the facility in the fall of 2017 and 2016 for the discharge of engine pressure washing water and for general discharge of oil to the ground. We do not have any objection. We can work with them on outfalls if they needed.
