I did not locate in neither of the three documents the items that we needed for their existing NPDES permit modification addressed (see the items requested from Duke Energy). Also, enclosed in both the March 16 and May 11 submittals to NCDEQ, are paragraphs saying that the modification to the existing NPDES permit (NCS000548) would be sent at a later time. We have not seen that application yet. Therefore, there is no part of either of these applications that is waiting on Stormwater to approve but we are waiting on the information for modification to NCS000548. Thanks and let me know if you have any further questions. Rick Richard (Rick) L. This week has gotten away from me. We needed the following information from Duke: • Ground water well data from retired landfill • Pipe data, other flows coming to the outfall, to include haul road • Pipe location 1 • Outfall location • Outfall to be sampled like Coal Ash type benchmark I have not had a chance to review the document from Duke yet to see if these items were included or not. If I can find these items in the submittal from Duke then we can add it to the BIMS file for a minor modification to their individual permit and send out a letter saying as much. The outfall and sampling point would be added to their permit/BIMS once it is constructed. Thanks Rick Richard (Rick) L. Rick your program is working on the diversion application, and the basin sizing/internals approval. Elizabeth you are reviewing to ensure Solid Waste has everything it needs for eventual "How Clean is Clean" approval once CCR is removed. And I will review the engineering and construction quality assurance plans for the basin itself. Please work any requests for additional info through me so I can track documents. Once all reviews are complete and I have your approvals to move forward, I will issue an approval to construct, review the completed construction in accordance with the CQA plan and ultimately issue the approval to operate.
