S&ME reviewed the North Carolina Historic Preservation Office (NCSHPO) GIS web service
(http://gis.ncdcr.gov/hpoweb) and downloadable GIS datasets to identify recorded historic resources in
the vicinity of the project area. Six historic resources were identified within a one-mile radius of the site.
Of the six resources, all of the sites have been surveyed only and two have since been destroyed or
moved. The nearest historic resource that is still present is approximately 0.2 miles from the site. The
historic resources are summarized in the table below. No impacts to historic resources are anticipated
as a result of this project. Historic resources located within one mile of the project site are summarized
in the table below and depicted on the attached Historic Resources Exhibit.
