This in response to the aforementioned Notice of Violation.
The flow meter is past due for calibration.

We are endeavoring to find someone with required hard ware, remote control,
to calibrate this meter. It is over twenty years old and since our WWTP is going to be
decommissioned in December we feel it wouldn't be a prudent use of dollars to replace
this unit.
ORC staff must indicate maintenance work done in the facility.
This has been stressed to the operator. The ORC will now check to make sure
all maintenance records are kept correctly.
Secondary clarifier in need of maintenance, short circuiting.
The clarifier was taken off line and flow diverted to the other secondary clarifier.
We are waiting for a contractor to weld steel plates over the openings to remedy this.
Excessive amount of foam in the treatment units, with foam in the effluent sampling
location.
Foam is a constant in our treatment process as we treat dye house waste.
Although foam was noticed in the effluent sampling location no foam was observed
on the receiving stream. The WWTP is equipped to feed de-foamer to prevent foam
from entering the receiving stream.

The Sampler tubing was dirty and in need of replacement.
New tubing was purchased the day after the inspection and put on the sampler.
A 90 to 120 day schedule, or sooner, to replace tubing has been implemented.
