All interested parties are hereby advised that the Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers
(Corps), at the request of the Town of Holden Beach, is withdrawing the permit
application to implement a shoreline protection project along the east end of the island,
including the construction of a terminal groin along the Lockwoods Folly Inlet, in
Brunswick County, North Carolina. The Corps is no longer seeking comments and has
ceased our permit review for the Town's proposal.
