More recent data was better with one TSS exceedance
Previous permit did not have tiers so there was no increase in monitoring or specific response
requirements for exceedance. Probably best to leave this level of bas monitoring in for this
permit cycle as well with the tiers added in to address any issues.
Buffalo Creek 9-53-(5). Stream shows as supporting so no special issues to address in the permit
NC National Heritage review — no record of any species or communities of concern within a one
mile radius.
• MRO—James Moore and Holliday Keen inspected the site on 2/21/2018. Based on their review
they recommended issuance of the permit as drafted.
