Numerous complaints have been received regarding the dual dredge project associated with Fernbrook Dr.
and Montibello Dr. As it has become clear, the project was not carried out as proposed in the application. However,
the work is completed and no further dredging is proposed or allowed without written approval from the Division
of Water Quality. Based on various aerials of the lake, site observations, and discussions with Duke Energy -Lake
Management, and given that there is no observable evidence of accumulated sediment deposition or impact to water
quality in the lake, we consider the matter closed.
