Therefore, WRC will not request an in water work moratorium. Travis W. The canal is on Old US 64 near the NCDOT barge facility. Maps and photos have been attached. The location is in the vicinity of the Little Alligator River, listed as AFSA. NCDOT proposed to repair the shoulder of the roadway and stabilize approximately 525 linear feet of the bank with Class B stone, as shown in the attached permit drawings. The project would rebuild the shoulder to a consistent width and improve safety for traffic on Old US 64. Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions about the project. Paul C.
