After conducting a site visit on February 9, 2018 at the requested location, here is the jurisdictional determination:
• Shoreline Stabilization — SR 1229 (Old US 64) in Tyrrell Co. : Non Jurisdictional, No CAMA Permit Required. CAMA
jurisdictional cut off is east of the project area at the NCDOT barge dock/boat ramp parking area access.

NCDOT plans to stabilize a roadside canal bank with riprap on Old US 64 in Tyrrell County. It's possible that the site is
located in an AEC. NCDOT requests a jurisdictional determination for the site. The attached map has the location. The
site is near the NCDOT barge dock.
