The Prime Contractor requesting a temporary stream crossing within the permitted foot print. Used for clearing
equipment and transporting materials ( Rock & Soil) — stream section of crossing is permitted to be filled in later
once triple culvert barrel ( 3@11 ` x 9") is constructed . Culvert plans attached.
**options we will discuss with contractor - Temporary bridging or temporary pipes crossing — both
should be allowed but must complv with BMP Manual & within permitted area where stream is permitted to be filled
later. **
We are meeting with Prime Contractor about option tomorrow (3/26/2018) @ 11AM.
The Department has allowed in the past a myriad of temporary crossings
(temporary fording, temporary piped crossing, temporary access bridge ) within
permitted areas as long as it is in compliance with Best Management Practices

to constructing a project while maintaining environmental excellence by providing a least
damaging approach.

— Contractor would submit official details for review & approval
