The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on hold until all of the following items are addressed: 1. Specify on a map the location where dredge spoils will be hauled to, what erosion control measures will be in place, and how spoils will be stabilized. Please confer with Division of Energy Minerals and Land Resources to determine whether a sediment and erosion control plan will be needed. 2. Will water from the dredge spoils at the disposal site(s) flow into Waters of the US? If so, what measures will be used to manage this return -water? 3. Provide information on the estimated volume of dredge material to be removed. 4. Demonstrate how stream flow from the unnamed tributary into Lake Lure will be maintained through the proposed dredge area, so as to not violate water quality standards while work is in progress. Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(e), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the proper consideration of the application.
