The existing structure is a 3@ 40' bridge with deck drainage (Description of Minimization of Water discharging directly to the surface-water of Muddy Creek.The proposed bridge is a 1@40', 1@70', 1@40', with deck drains only discharge outside the stream to riprap dissapator Quality Impacts) pads. Riprap bank stabilization will be utilized under the bridge and at all concentrated runoff discharge points. NCDOT erosion control standards will be implemented during construction and impervious dikes with be utilities in surface-waters for bent removal and riprap stabilization installation. Special stilling basins will 6e employed for effluent treatment during dewatering operations. Polyacrylamide will be utilized at ditch checks to settle sediment prior to runoff leaving the construction site.
