I'll include this email in the file for records. A large tree located on the streambank at Station 20+20 Lt has recently blown over and resulted in an unstable streambank. The attached photograph depicts the existing situation. The orange fence crossing the stream depicts the boundary between permanent fill in surface water impacts and temporary fill in surface waters. Our plan was to install rip rap (per the permit drawings) up to the orange fence and not have any stream impacts upstream of the orange fence. ¦?II1 ???iA ?= If?1?i?7¦ l 1 of 4 2/12/2009 8:23 AM Re: Construction issue on B-4300 in Wake County However, the fallen tree has created some problems with this plan. The Department would like to remove the tree and rootball and line the whole blown out area with class rip rap. This will result in a slight change in permanent and temporary stream impacts. It will increase the permanent stream impacts by about 20 feet and decrease the temporary stream impacts by the corresponding 20 feet. The attached permit drawing depicts the actual location of the the orange fence and the proposed additional rip rap. of 4 2/12/2009 8:23 AM Re Construction issue on B-4300 in Wake County i H1 ry • ?
