If the violations are of a continuing nature, not related to operation and/or maintenance problems, and you anticipate remedial construction activities, then you may wish to consider applying for a Special Order by Consent (SOC). The Division of Water Resources may pursue enforcement actions for this and any additional violations. Please reply in writing to this notice within 10 business days of receiving it. Your reply should include all additional information you wish for us to consider in evaluating whether we will enforce for these violations. Failure to reply within 10 business days may result in the development of an enforcement case against Zooland Family Campground, LLC. In accordance with NC General Statute 143-215.6C, the Division may assess civil penalties of up to $25,000 per day, per violation, for any violation of Zooland's discharge permit, NC0089052.
