The following work has been completed by Thomas Stanley grading with oversight conducted by Pilot Environmental, Inc.: Upstream of Crossing #2 -All rip-rap has been removed from within the stream channel and three rock cross vanes were installed to stabilize the stream and prevent head-cutting due to the abrupt change in elevation.All disturbed areas have been covered with jute matting and reseeded with a wetland mix seed to restore and stabilize the site.Black willow live stakes have been installed as recommended. Photographs are attached. Downstream of Crossing #2 -Rip-rap has been removed beyond 32 feet downstream from the culvert and the streambanks have been restored.A bankfull bench has been installed adjacent to the stream channel.All disturbed areas have been covered with jute matting and reseeded with a wetland seed mix to restore and stabilize the site.Black willow live stakes have been installed as recommended. Pilot Project 1745.2 November 8, 2017 Pilot is requesting your review of the remediation efforts and written notice that violations have been corrected and the incident closed.We appreciate your assistance.
